You will be picked up from your hotel between 7:00 and 7:15am, and after collecting everyone, we will make our way in our transport to the town of Pisaq which is located approximately 45 minutes from the city. After we pass by the viewpoint of Taray where we will take a short stop to appreciate the majestic Sacred Valley, as well as the scenery, snow-caped mountains and the Urubamba River. We will arrive at the typical town of Pisaq and appreciate its traditional and colorful market, very famous for its customs and traditions. Here you can purchase typical textiles at low prices, maintaining traditions like: masses in the native language of Quechua, and their exchange of products between others.
Afterwards we will make our way to the archeological site where we will see their impressive archeological terraces, as well as important enclosures, and cemeteries whi are more than3,000 niches and several ceremonial fountains. After this visit, we will travel to Urubamba where you will be able to choose one of he many local restaurants for our lunch. During the drive we will see several typical villages of the area, as well as beautiful landscapes. After lunch we will continue in our van for 30 minutes until we arrive in Ollantaytambo. Here you will see some of the largest construction dedicated to sun worship built from rose granite as well as several ceremonial fountains. You will also be able to appreciate the immensity of these constructions and how they were able to maintain the streets typical of this area.
After visiting this impressive place full of history, we will make our way to the train station which is about 15 minutes by foot, where we will board the Vistadome train to the town of Aguas Calientes. During the trip, we will appreciate some glaciers, agricultural fields, and several Incan terraces. Upon your arrival at the town of Aguas Calientes, you will register at your comfortable hotel. The thermal baths of the town are one of the most agreeable ways to pass the afternoon (if you have time available). Dinner and rest.
After having breakfast very early in the hotel, we will direct you to the bus station to ascend to the citadel for a period of approximately 30 minutes in the bus. Afterwards, take a guided tour for approximately 2 hours of the different sectors such as: the agricultural sector, ceremonial fountains, and “inti huatana” or solar clock. After the tour, you will have free time to take photos and taking in some of the other areas. We recommend ascending to Inti Punku, panoramic view of the Citadel. Finally, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes then go to the station and wait for the departure of our Expedition train that will take us to the village of Ollantaytambo. We will then be picked up by bus and arrive in the city of Cusco. Time of arrival depends mostly on your train ticket.
The time depends a lot on the train schedule given to you since you have to be half an hour before the departure of your train at the station. Likewise, the rates are subject to any increase or readjustment by the MINISTRY OF CULTURE and PERU RAIL S.A (train company) they may determine.

Travel insurance, personal belongings, first aid kit, fever pills, upset stomach, height, water purifier, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, flashlights, rain ponchos, walking sticks, trekking shoes, camera, Sun hat and the cold, thermal clothing for the night and light for the day, money (at personal discretion) and original documents: Passport, ID, students their original ISIC card.
