waiting for us, On this day our adventure begins with being picked up from your hotel at 07.30 am. Then we board our shuttle to the Chonta condor viewpoint. We will take the route from Cusco to Limatambo by paved road. Along the route we can see some villages, immense fields, valleys and mountains, where we will visit the Archaeological sites of QUILLARUMIYOQ, meaning (Moon stone) in our native language Quechua. Dedicated to fertility, this is a masterpiece carved in a single rock and around it you can see huge agricultural terraces. After this visit we will continue towards TARAWASI (House of Tara), which was a resting place for those who are on their way to the Chinchaysuyo and control people and producers where its construction is performed with thin, cell-style lace.
Then we will pass by Limatambo and take an unpaved route until the community of Chonta where we will have a climb up to 3,400 m. During this trip we will make stops in key sites to be able to take photos with the snow-capped mountains of Salkantay, Humantay and Limatambo Valley. Once we arrive, we will start with our light and gentle hike along the wide path to the condor viewpoint. From this point we will have the opportunity to witness the impressive flight of the Andean condors in their natural habitat. Here we will find the best spot and wait for the condors to arrive for their daily activities. This will be a unique opportunity to watch them close by and fly in front of us and be amazed by the spectacle that we provide.
Later we will take the same way back that we came to the village of Chonta, where our bus will be and take us back to the city of Cusco arriving at approximately 8: 00 pm.
